LifeCenter’s Fundraising Campaign
LifeCenter’s fundraising campaign is a unique opportunity to invest in efforts that will save more lives throughout the tri-state and across the region. LifeCenter recognizes that the greatest obstacle to increasing the number of patients who receive life-saving and life-changing transplants continues to be the scarcity of available donations. Through your partnership, LifeCenter is able to promote the importance of donation in the community, raise awareness of the need for organ and tissue donors, and work to increase the number of designated organ and tissue donors in the Greater Cincinnati, Tri-state community.
If you would like to contribute to LifeCenter’s mission or make a memorial donation in honor of a loved one, you are welcome to use the form linked below.
Wieland Heart Bears
In 2010, 22-year-old Ricky Wieland passed away. His mother, in her profound grief, made the generous decision to allow Ricky to save others’ lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation. Later, in tribute to her son, she created these bears to offer comfort to other donor families. The small recorder inside the pouch is able to play the heartbeat of the organ donor, in honor of the gifts that were so generously given.
Donate to LifeCenter for the Wieland Bear Project in order to allow organ donor families to receive these meaningful bears.
