January 2024 LifeCenter Calendar Story of Hope

Being a registered organ donor means you may one day save or improve someone’s life. It is truly a gift to the community, and I am proud to be among those who are on the tissue and organ donation registry. I did not consider donating my organs until about ten years ago when a friend shared the facts about organ and tissue donation. As president and CEO of the Center for Closing the Health Gap in Greater Cincinnati, my knowledge has grown along with our partnership with LifeCenter. Organ donation became even more personal when I learned my brother needs a heart transplant. There are thousands of people in our community in need of a life-saving donation. I pray that each of them, along with my brother, will one day receive a donor’s gift that will save their life. Register to be an organ, eye and tissue donor today!
