LifeCenter Organ Donor Network’s (LifeCenter) Open Houses are an opportunity for the community to visit with us, to learn about who we are, what we do, and our role in the communities we serve.
As one of the local healthcare agencies in the area, LifeCenter invites you to our next informal, yet informative Summer Open House on June 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Open House is free and open to anyone in the community. Please feel free to stop by whenever is convenient for you during the event.
LifeCenter is a nonprofit, Donate Life organization serving more than 2 million people across 16 counties throughout Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southwest Indiana. Since 1981, we have worked closely with local hospitals, free-standing emergency departments, fire departments, funeral homes, hospice facilities, and many other community partners to facilitate the recovery of organ, eye and tissue donations.
Those gifts have saved, healed, and changed countless lives in our community.
The Open House will feature our staff members — members of the community just like you — explaining LifeCenter’s role in the community, along with an opportunity for a guided tour of our office. Our office is a living tribute to the legacy of our hero donors, the gifts recovered for transplant recipients, living donors, and to our Ambassadors who have volunteered with us over the years. The walls are decorated with their pictures, and we have three different memorials to those who have passed.
LifeCenter’s role in the community extends beyond recovery; we educate in area schools, with more than 10,000 students learning about organ, eye and tissue donation just this year so far. We also educate the community at various events, reaching nearly 5,000 people in 2023. Our education outreach also covers our hospital partners, often during new hire orientations. Finally, our incredible Family Aftercare team maintains contact with our donor families to ensure they are supported through their donation journey.
Light refreshments and snacks will be available. Guests will also have a chance to win door prizes.
LifeCenter is located at 615 Elsinore Pl., Suite 400, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. We have plenty of free on-site parking, both outside and in the parking garage adjacent to Staples.
